Uniting Against Poverty: MacKillop College Joins Project Compassion
This Lent, MacKillop College is proud to participate in Caritas Australia’s Project Compassion, an initiative that embodies the spirit of unity and compassion. The theme for 2025, “Unite Against Poverty,” resonates deeply with our community’s values of solidarity and support for those in need.
Collective Impact
As individuals, we can make a difference, but when we come together as a community, our collective efforts can achieve remarkable outcomes. By participating in Project Compassion, we not only support vulnerable communities but also foster a sense of unity and purpose among our students, staff, and families.
Year Level Challenge
To make this initiative engaging and fun, we have established a friendly competition among our year levels. Six teams, each representing a different year level, will compete to see which can raise the most funds for Project Compassion. This challenge encourages teamwork, creativity, and generosity, while promoting awareness about the importance of addressing poverty worldwide.
How You Can Support
Every donation counts, and we invite everyone in the MacKillop College community to contribute to this worthy cause. You can support your preferred year level by visiting their individual fundraising pages:
