SMC Marine Biology Tours @ Queenscliff
Published on: 29 March 2021
Year 9 St Mary’s classes have spent the term investigating eco-systems and the effect of climate change on our environment.
One of the highlights was the excursion to Queenscliff, taking part in a marine biology boat trip with the staff from the Marine and Freshwater Discovery Centre. Many creatures were discovered among the seaweed at the bottom of Port Phillip Bay, including sea hares, wandering anemones, decorator crabs and sea horses.
