SACCSS Cross Country

On Tuesday 1 April 60 students represented MacKillop at the annual SACCSS Cross Country Championships. It was a very successful day with nine students winning medals in the eight races while the team won three champions pennants in the following divisions – Junior Boys, Junior Aggregate and Senior Boys.

The team highlights were the performance of the Year 7 Boys who had six team members in the top ten, while the Senior Boys won their division with only four runners, two short of the standard team.
The following students were successful in winning medals in their respective events:
GOLD – Thomas Giallo (Year 11)
SILVER – Ksenia Kurenysheva (Year 8), Maddox Grima (Year 8), Aiden Muscat (Year 10), Daniel Hornstra (Year 12)
BRONZE – Nicola Morris (Year 7), Ryder Deans (Year 7), Tanami Murdock (Year 9), Charli Hocking (Year 12)
