Opportunities and Achievements

The house system will provide students with opportunities to earn points through academic achievements, sporting events, and community service. This will not only encourage healthy competition but also foster a sense of unity and shared purpose among students. Each house will embody the values of Saint Mary MacKillop and her associates, guiding students to develop compassion, inclusiveness, knowledge, courage, dignity, and responsibility.

Embracing Our Heritage

By naming the houses after individuals closely associated with Saint Mary MacKillop, this reinforces MacKillop College’s commitment to the values and legacy of our patron Saint. This new system is designed to inspire students to emulate the dedication, resilience, and compassion that defined the lives of these remarkable individuals.

As we embark on this new chapter, we look forward to seeing our students thrive in their respective houses, building strong bonds and contributing to the vibrant community that is MacKillop College.
