Set in the glitzy and gritty world of 1920s Chicago, this sensational musical follows Roxie Hart, a wannabe vaudeville star who finds herself in jail after murdering her lover. In the Cook County Jail, she meets Velma Kelly, a famed nightclub performer accused of double murder. With the help of a slick lawyer, Billy Flynn, both women vie for the spotlight in a media frenzy that turns crime into celebrity.
