SACCSS Year 9 Premier League Grand Final – 7 September

Congratulations to the 35 students who represented MacKillop in Premier League Grand Finals on Wednesday.

Unfortunately the Boys Basketball team just fell short in a close game against CRC Melton while the Boys Volleyball team went down to an impressive St Monica’s team at Eagle Stadium.

The highlight of the day was undoubtedly the exciting win by the Boys Soccer team over Thomas Carr in their Final. After leading 2-0, Thomas Carr hit back to level at 2-2 before a late goal with about three minutes to go sealed the victory. This is MacKillop’s first ever Premier League Soccer title so well done to all students involved.

NOTE: The Boys Football and Girls Netball teams will play Salesian away in their Grand Finals next Monday.
