Year 12 VCAL Podcast
Our Year 12 VCAL students have been studying the thrilling podcast, Serial and learning about issues facing our world today. One such issue, youth gambling, inspired them to create a podcast with the awesome support of IPC Health and Ralph Barba.
Our students were so lucky to interview a therapeutic counsellor from Gambler’s Help, and the awe-inspiring Luke Rubinstein – a young man who had experienced gambling harm for their own podcast.
On the day, students were able not only to learn how to make a podcast and the best way to run live interviews, they were also empowered to talk about the power young people have to challenge the impact of gambling harm for their peers. We congratulate our awesome young people for their awesome effort and encourage everyone to give the podcast a listen!
