MacKStars 2025: A Night of Unforgettable Talent and Celebration

MacKillop College’s annual “MacKStars” talent showcase lit up the Moreno Performing Arts Centre on Tuesday, 1st April 2025, with an electrifying display of student creativity. This year’s event featured a record-breaking 21 acts spanning dance, instrumental performances, and vocal solos, drawing a vibrant crowd of families, staff, and peers to celebrate our students’ artistic excellence.

Highlights of the Evening:

– Diverse Performances: From high-energy dance routines to soulful vocal solos and intricate instrumental pieces, the night highlighted the breadth of talent within our student cohort.

– Junior Dance: Meaghan (9 Ivory)

– Junior Instrumental: Sion (9 Maroon)

– Junior Vocal: Sienna (9 Teal)

– Senior Dance: Edin (11 Gold)

– Senior Instrumental: Timothy (10 Teal)

– Senior Vocal: Isabelle (12 Teal)

A Community Effort: 

Special recognition goes to staff members Jeremy Morrissy, Bianca Mannello, Rachel McCormack, Darcy Ledoux, Cassandra Beckitt, Sarah Dinan, Travis Gorlin and Luke Gray for their tireless work in organising the event, ensuring seamless transitions between acts and a polished experience for all attendees. Their dedication continues to elevate ‘MacKStars’ as a cornerstone of MacKillop’s annual calendar.
