The always eloquent Director of Student Wellbeing, Mr Exton, has again offered to send a regular update of the Tasmania trip he is part of:

Day 1

We gathered at MacKillop excited to set out on our journey, in the back of everyone’s mind was the wind and the boat crossing. And we were right to have it on our minds as our travels across the seas could be summed up with these words from a show in the distant pass

Sit right back and you will hear a tale
A tale of a faithful trip
Its started from the arctic port
A board this tiny ship
The mate was a mighty sailing man
The skipper was brave and sure
57 passengers sailed that day
For an 8 day tour

The weather starting getting rough
The tiny shipped was tossed
It not for the courage of the staff and students
The Spirt would be lost
This ship aground in Davenport
With everyone secure
Ready to tell more tales on our 8 day tour
